Liz Stein is a survivor who has publicly described being groomed and abused by Jeffrey Epstein in the mid-1990s while working in the fashion industry. She was introduced to Epstein through Ghislaine Maxwell, who presented the connection as a networking and professional opportunity.

At the time, Stein was a young professional in New York's fashion industry. She has described being groomed through what initially appeared to be legitimate social and professional interactions. Epstein used his wealth, connections, and promises of career advancement to establish trust before sexually exploiting her and trafficking her to other men.

Following Epstein's arrest in 2019, Stein came forward publicly in media interviews. In 2020, she filed a claim with the Epstein Victims' Compensation Program, which distributed over $121 million to approximately 135 claimants before closing in 2022.

Stein's testimony extended the known timeline of Epstein's abuse, demonstrating that his predatory behavior had been ongoing for decades before the Palm Beach investigation.
