Gretchen Rhodes was hired by Maxwell as a private masseuse when she was 24. Rhodes’ job quickly turned into abuse. On one occasion, she was forced to massage Epstein's nipples while he masturbated.

"These people made the weirdest things so normal and normalized... it was all horrible and weird," she said. She later added: "[Maxwell] led me into that situation knowing full well it's not a normal situation to put somebody in, but doing it anyway."
