Emmy Tayler (born 1974) is a British former actress and personal assistant who worked for Ghislaine Maxwell from 1997 to 2001. Born in Exeter, Devon, Tayler trained at the Oxford School of Drama before becoming Maxwell's personal assistant.
During her four years as Maxwell's assistant, Tayler became deeply embedded in Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein's inner circle, frequently traveling with them on Epstein's private aircraft. Flight logs document numerous trips between Epstein's properties in New York, Palm Beach, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and international locations.
Johanna Sjoberg provided testimony that Tayler taught her massage techniques in Epstein's bathroom, with both Tayler and Epstein present. Virginia Giuffre identified Tayler in court filings as one of Maxwell's key aides during the period when Giuffre was at Epstein properties.
In 2022, Tayler filed defamation lawsuits against journalist Julie K. Brown and HarperCollins over Brown's book Perversion of Justice, which incorrectly placed Tayler in Palm Beach in 2005. In February 2024, HarperCollins settled and issued a public apology confirming that Tayler's employment with Maxwell ended in 2001, years before the 2005 Palm Beach investigation. Tayler has never been criminally charged in connection with Epstein's crimes.
