Carolyn Andriano was recruited into Epstein's circle at age 14 through peer networks in Palm Beach. Between 2001 and 2004, she was sexually abused by Epstein more than 100 times. She testified at Ghislaine Maxwell's 2021 criminal trial using only her first name "Carolyn." She died by suicide in May 2023 at age 36.
At Maxwell's trial, Andriano testified that Maxwell greeted her at Epstein's Palm Beach mansion, making her feel comfortable before touching her inappropriately. She testified: "She touched my breasts and my hips and my buttocks and said that I had a great body for Mr. Epstein and his friends." She visited Epstein's house hundreds of times between ages 14 and 18, paid $300 for each encounter. When she turned 18, Epstein told her she was "too old."
Assistant U.S. Attorney Alison Moe emphasized that Andriano's testimony showed Maxwell was an active participant who groomed victims before facilitating their abuse by Epstein. Her testimony established Epstein's specific preference for underage girls.
